Early January Will See EIZO Releasing the FlexScan SX2262W LCD

With manufacturers going out of their way to announce and release products over products, hoping to catch as much of the holiday shopping mania as possible, Japanese company EIZO joined the fray by revealing its plans to launch a new Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitor in the first half of January 2010, specifically January 12th. The product bears the name of FlexScan SX2262W and is a 22-inch monitor that uses a Vertical Alignment (VA) panel.

This device comes as an addition to the company's history of development, design, manufacturing and sale of display monitors and peripherals, amusement products, and imaging system software. Although, at least initially, the product will only be available in Japan, those who will be in a position to purchase the monitor will have little to frown upon.

The Japanese company seems to have covered all the bases, creating an LCD monitor that can, allegedly, reproduce 95% of the Adobe RGB color space. The maximum resolution of the FlexScan SX2262W is of 1920 x 1080 pixels and its contrast ratio is of 1,000:1. The product will be featuring multiple connectivity possibilities, including two USB ports, as well as dual-DVI and DisplayPort outputs.
